The Avoka Group CEO Recognized for Entrepreneurial Excellence

Washington, DC. April, 2023 - Barbara White, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Avoka Group was recognized for her contributions to Georgetown Entrepreneurship, a program that teaches and mentors existing and aspiring entrepreneurs to explore their passions and translate ideas into new ventures.

She was awarded the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for Outstanding Mentorship for her work leading an initiative to expand opportunities and develop resources for life science and healthcare innovators and founders across the University community.

With the urgent and growing need for this continued innovation within the health and wellness space, this program seeks to partner with leaders across the University and our community to provide more targeted entrepreneurial support to enable our students, alumni, faculty, and staff to embark on and be successful in furthering these ideas.
